Why choose the ESS Feli López Academy
Who runs the programme
Feliciano López, academy director, present at training and in the mentoring sessions. Carlos Castillo, director of methodology, is on court every day with the athletes.
Where it is
In Madrid, on a single base: training, studies and residence in the same city.
How much and where they train
Three hours every morning, Monday to Friday, at El Tejar de Somontes: two on court and one of strength and conditioning, plus a second court session on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. 36 courts, 10 minutes from the centre of Madrid.
What happens with school
School, Spanish or international; University, university or a gap year. The schools and universities award their own official qualifications, and the academic calendar fits around the sporting one, never the other way round.
ESS residence
We assign it, on a clear basis: distance to training and age. At school, the school's own boarding if it has one or MiCampus Wynwood; at university, Student Experience Pozuelo. If there is a specific reason to prefer another residence, it is considered among the available options. If they are 14 to 17 and do not live with their family in Spain, they need legal guardianship: the school covers it if it has boarding and, if not, it is added as an extra.
What it costs and what is included
Three levels with a starting price, published on this page: Sport only, Sport + education — with the school or university, without residence — and the Full programme, the only one with residence. The last two depend on the centre you choose. Full academic year, taxes included; extras are added separately, each with its own amount.
Pricing
Three levels with a starting price, per full academic year with taxes included. With the school or university, the amount depends on the centre, and the residence is only in the full programme. Extras are added separately, each with its own amount.
